Join us for a New Seasons Spring Recycling Event with local partners James Recycling, Waste Free Advocates, Simple Sundries, Community Warehouse, and Green Century Electronics Recycling (e-waste).
Clean and sort your hard-to-recycle materials (not accepted in curbside bins), then drop them off for recycling—just $3 to $10 per grocery-sized bag. Volunteers will be on hand to help sort!
Accepted Materials & Fees:
Plastics ($3 per grocery-sized bag):
Unnumbered straws & utensils
Unnumbered screw-on caps & contact lens blister packs
#1 PET plastic
#2 HDPE plastic
#4 LDPE plastic
#5 PP plastic
#6 PS including bread clips, CD containers, tape containers & cassette containers
Styrofoam ($10 per 45-gallon bag):
Cups
Packing peanuts
Takeout containers, meat trays & egg cartons
Blocks (must be clean, dry, and free of tape, labels, glue, ink, paint & food residue)
Payments Accepted:
Cash or card. No checks accepted.
We’ll also be on hand to accept the following hard-to-recycle materials at no charge:
Stretchy plastic film
Grocery bags
Produce bags
Ice bags
Ziploc bags
Dry cleaning bags
Newspaper bags
Cereal bags
Case overwraps
Plastic shipping sleeves (including Amazon envelopes)
Bubble wrap
Usable garden tools
Usable small kitchen goods, housewares, and linens for Community Warehouse (See the full list here)
E-waste:
Computers, laptops, TVs & monitors (all types)
Hard drives (secure data destruction provided)
Misc. computer components such as floppy drives, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB, etc.)
Cords, wires, chargers, power strips
Servers, switches, routers, hubs, modems, networking devices, communications equipment
POS (Point of Sale equip)

Household batteries
