At New Seasons, we believe that eating good means doing good, and building a healthier, more resilient community starts with us. That’s why we foster a culture of lifelong volunteers.
New Seasons Market's Lend a Hand (LAH) program is more than just a perk—it's the heart of our commitment to community engagement. This self-directed benefit allows our staff to get paid for up to eight hours a year to volunteer with any IRS 501c3 nonprofit they're passionate about, whether it's their child's school, a local charity, or their church.
Our community’s local nonprofits rely on more than just financial donations; they need hands-on support to thrive, and that's just what New Seasons Lend a Hand program aims to do.
While safety and project availability created a decline in participation during the pandemic, we're excited to see Lend A Hand regaining momentum, with our staff already putting in over 800 hours toward our annual goal of 1,000.
Since we started tracking in 2016, we’ve proudly accumulated a remarkable 21,196 volunteer hours, and we look forward to continuing to make an impact, one Lend A Hand hour at a time.
